We understand salt therapy may be a new treatment for many. We would love to answer any questions you may have. Check out some of our most frequently asked questions below:
What do I wear in the salt room?
Comfortable clothing is recommended for the salt room. You may also change into clothing that exposes areas of skin you would like the salt to come in contact with, such as shorts, sleeveless shirts, and skirts. Socks are required inside the salt room.
What are the benefits of a salt room session?
Dry salt air is more powerful than moist air. The properties of salt improve our health and mood. Inhaling salt particles may reduce inflammation and mucus in the lungs, improving respiratory conditions such as asthma, allergies, bronchitis, sinus congestion, and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
How does salt therapy work?
As you breathe in the salt particles they act as an anti-bacterial agent, dissolving bacteria and pollutants lodged in the respiratory tract. Clinical studies have shown that salt therapy reduces inflammation in the respiratory tract and aids in mucous clearing, leaving patients breathing easier.
Will Salt therapy help with allergy relief?
Allergies occur when your body gives an unnatural response to harmless substances. Medical treatment of allergies can prove to be expensive and not without side effects. If you suffer from allergies, salt therapy brings you hope of a long-term, drug-free relief.
Is salt therapy safe for children?
Absolutely! Salt therapy is safe for children. There are no potential harmful effects. The treatment is completely natural and in fact, children often respond to treatment faster than adults.

What is Reiki and how does it work?
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. Reiki energy is a subtle energy. It is different from electricity or chemical energy or other kinds of physical energy. Reiki energy comes from the unseen "life force energy" that flows through all of us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
In a standard treatment, energy flows from the practitioner's hands into the client. The client is usually laying on a massage table but treatments can also be given while the client is seated or even standing. The client remains fully clothed. The practitioner places her/his hands on or near the client's body in a series of hand positions. These include positions around the head and shoulders, the stomach, and feet. Other, more specific positions may be used based on the client's needs. Each position is held for several minutes depending on how much Reiki the client needs at each position. The whole treatment usually lasts between 45 and 60 minutes.
A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. The energy treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind, and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security, and wellbeing. Many have reported miraculous results.
It is a simple, natural, and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery. Reiki has not been found to have any adverse effects.
How should I prepare for a Reiki session?
There is no preparation needed for your session except showing up with an open mind and heart. It is suggested that you wear comfortable clothes. You are also welcome to start thinking of areas of focus prior to your session to discuss with your practitioner. It is recommended that you do not consume alcohol or mind-altering substances at least 24 hours prior to your session. Your practitioner will also discuss aftercare instructions upon completion of the session.
What is the return policy for items sold online or at the retail location?
All sales are final. Due to the nature of the items sold, we do not allow returns unless the item was received damaged. If your product is damaged, we will strive to replace your item with a similar item. However, if no acceptable exchange is available, we will be glad to issue you a store gift card or refund upon request.
